Job summary

George E. Booth Co., Inc is seeking a full-time Control Panel Builder for our Greenwood Panel Shop, with occasional travel to customer sites. You will interpret electrical schematics, assemble and wire control panels, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

A clean driving record is required and benefits start day one. We value 3–5 years in panel building or electrical assembly, strong attention to detail, and teamwork to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and wiring techniques.
• Prefer 3-5 years’ experience in panel building or electrical assembly.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels according to schematics and layout drawings.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
• Mount components such as circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, and terminal blocks.
• Perform precise wiring and labeling to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Inspect and test completed panels for functionality and adherence to customer requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in good condition.
• Report any issues or need for repairs promptly.
• Follow all safety standards and company procedures.
