Job summary

George E. Booth Co., Inc, a family-owned industrial automation sales company, is hiring a full-time Control Panel Builder in Greenwood. You will assemble and wire control panels, interpret schematics, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean production area.

Travel to customer locations occasionally; must have a clean driving record; benefits are competitive and include PTO and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret electrical schematics.
• 3–5 years of experience in panel building or electrical assembly.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels according to schematics and layout drawings.
• Mount components such as circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, and terminal blocks.
• Inspect and test completed panels for functionality and adherence to customer requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in good condition.
• Follow all safety standards and company procedures.

The ideal candidate will play a key role inbuilding custom control panels by interpreting electrical schematics, wiringcomponents, and ensuring quality standards are met. This person will alsomaintain a clean and organized production area, follow safety protocols, andcollaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

This position is based primarily in our GreenwoodPanel Shop, with occasional travel to customer locations during normal businesshours. A clean driving record is required. We offer a competitive compensationplan and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities for the Control Panel Builder

• 1. Assemble and wireelectrical control panels according to schematics and layout drawings.
• 2. Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
• 3. Mount components such as circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, and terminal blocks.
• 4. Perform precise wiring and labeling to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• 5. Inspect and testcompleted panels for functionality and adherence to customer requirements.
• 6. Maintain tools,equipment, and work area in good condition.
• 7. Report any issues or need for repairs promptly.
• 8. Follow all safetystandards and company procedures.

Requirements for the Control Panel Builder

• Experience with handtools, power tools, and wiring techniques.
• Prefer 3-5 years’experience in panel building or electrical assembly.
