Job summary

Control Panels USA is seeking Assembly Technicians to lay out, assemble and wire electrical control panels and relay racks. The role involves assembling parts with hand and power tools, wiring cables, labeling components, and ensuring units meet specifications.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in assembly/manufacturing, basic electrical theory knowledge, and the ability to read schematics. A high school diploma or GED is required; long-term commitment is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of electrical theory is a plus, but can be taught.
• Ability to read schematics is a plus, but can be taught.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and components using hand and power tools.
• Cut and connect cables/wires to panels.
• Label wires and components; install tags/labels on panels.
• Install company nameplates and identification labels/tags.
• Measure parts to check tolerances with measuring instruments.
• Inspect, test, adjust and correct issues to meet specs and customer requirements.
• Study schematics to diagnose panel functionality.

Our regular work schedule is M-F 3:00 pm -11:30 pm with some overtime opportunities as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assembling parts and components using hand and power tools.
• Cut and connect cables and/or wires to panels.
• Label wires and components as well as install tags and associated labels on the panel boxes.
• Install company name plates and any identification labels and/or tags.
• Measure parts to determine tolerances, using measuring instruments
• Aid with inspecting, testing, point to point, adjusting and correcting issues found in testing to ensure units meet specifications, tolerances and customer requirements.
• Study and learn to read schematics in order to diagnose issues with drawings and functionality of the panels.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of electrical theory and/or electrical assembly is a plus, but we can teach this
• The ability to read schematics is a plus, but we can teach this
• High School Diploma / GED
