Job summary

Control Panels USA is seeking Assembly Technicians to join our growing team. You will be laying out, assembling and wiring electrical control panels and relay racks.

The position involves hands-on fabrication with a focus on quality workmanship, attention to detail, and safe, efficient production on an M-F schedule with some overtime.

Our team emphasizes reliability, teamwork and continuous learning as we scale operations in Georgetown, TX.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read schematics (trainable).
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and components using hand and power tools.
• Cut and connect cables and/or wires to panels.
• Label wires and components and install labels/tags on panels.
• Install company name plates and identification labels.
• Measure parts to determine tolerances using measuring instruments.
• Inspect, test, and adjust units to meet specs and customer requirements.
• Study schematics to diagnose issues and ensure functionality.

Our regular work schedule is M-F 7:00 am -3:30 pm with some overtime opportunities as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assembling parts and components using hand and power tools.
• Cut and connect cables and/or wires to panels.
• Label wires and components as well as install tags and associated labels on the panel boxes.
• Install company name plates and any identification labels and/or tags.
• Measure parts to determine tolerances, using measuring instruments
• Aid with inspecting, testing, point to point, adjusting and correcting issues found in testing to ensure units meet specifications, tolerances and customer requirements.
• Study and learn to read schematics in order to diagnose issues with drawings and functionality of the panels.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of electrical theory and/or electrical assembly is a plus, but we can teach this
• The ability to read schematics is a plus, but we can teach this
• High School Diploma / GED
