Job summary

Cindavi is seeking an Engineering Manager for our on-site team in Madison, WI, overseeing I&C and electrical engineers focused on control systems, instruments, and power supply design. You will mentor staff and drive integration of software and hardware efforts.

Lead development of digital/analog control systems (DCS, PAC/PLC, DAQ), participate in design reviews, and ensure documentation quality while supporting installation and commissioning in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, strong preference for Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 7–10+ years of engineering experience with a proven track record of progressing into and successfully holding a management role.
• Strong technical competence in electrical engineering, especially in power distribution or instrumentation and controls, with foundational knowledge of PLC programming.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships, lead cross-functional teams, and drive organizational synergy.
• Continual improvement mindset and process evaluation.
• Experience in automation within medical instruments, radiopharma, or nuclear industries preferred.
• Experience with PLC programming and embedded C preferred.
• Experience with machine design and building factories or automation systems preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies preferred.

We are seeking an Instruments and Controls (I&C) / Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our newly integrated team of software and electrical engineers at our Fitchburg campus. In this role, you will oversee the design, development, procurement, and testing of systems used to power, control, and monitor processes for our medical isotope production facilities.
