Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Colorado Springs, CO, is seeking a Control Account - Project Manager at Level 3 or 4 to support engineering programs using CAM, earned value management, and integrated master schedules. You will manage baselines, forecasts, reporting, and proposals, working closely with engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.

Qualifications

  • Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain US Government Secret security clearance, but not required to start.
  • Level 3: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years with a Master's degree.
  • Level 4: Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years with a Master's degree.
  • Experience with cost plus and firm fixed price contract vehicles.
  • Material account earned value management experience.
  • Labor account earned value management experience.
  • Subcontract labor account earned value management experience.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Ability to develop and manage schedule tasks.
  • Experience with integration of major subcontract schedules within prime integrated master schedule.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Project
  • Experience creating Basis of Estimates and Proposals

Responsibilities

  • Establish budgetary baselines for Engineering functions with the DARC program through CAM best practices.

  • Assess Software project issues/risks and develop resolution plan
  • Prepare Contract Data Requirements Lists for necessary reporting for the Program Team
  • Support Engineering Change Proposals by authoring Basis of Estimates and other proposal activity
  • Prepare monthly Business Rhythm EVM artifacts and reporting
  • Support labor and material program control accounts.

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking aControl Account -Project Manager– Level 3 or 4 to support systems using current technologies and others yet to come. This position is based onsite at ourColorado Springs, CO facility.

In this job, you will:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science Degree
  • An active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access.
  • Risk management experience
  • Earned Value Management Certification
  • Project Management Professional Certification
  • Software discipline organizational experience
  • Experience with the management of Subcontract values greater than 30 million dollars
  • Experience with managing labor cost accounts greater than 10 million dollars
  • Experience with management of Software Development projects including the production and delivery of CDRLs
  • Previous experience as a Scrum Master
  • Proficiency in Atlassian tools (JIRA and Confluence)

Primary Level Salary Range: $85,600.00 - $128,400.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $106,800.00 - $160,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
