Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Contracts Support Specialist to join our Owner’s Advisor team supporting METC Recapitalization at Joint Base San Antonio–Fort Sam Houston. This mission-critical initiative will deliver five modern dormitories for up to 6,000 medical students and the associated infrastructure.

You will work with government leaders, military stakeholders, designers and contractors to manage risk, protect the government's interests, and support delivery of a high-profile design-build program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in contracts or construction contract administration.
• Experience with change documentation, payment support, and obligations tracking.
• Strong writing and analytical skills with ability to interpret technical advice vs contractual direction.
• Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access to JBSA Fort Sam Houston.

Responsibilities

• Provide contract administration and commercial documentation support.
• Maintain records, deliverables, notices, and registers.
• Coordinate scope-change documentation and approval routing.
• Track changes, modifications, and supporting records.
• Support GMP documentation, payment reviews, and risk discussions.
• Coordinate with contracts, procurement, legal, and government reps.
• Support options, warranty, closeout records, and auditable handoffs.
