Parsons seeks a Contracts Support Specialist to join the Federal Solutions team supporting the METC Recapitalization at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston. You will work with government leaders, military stakeholders, designers, and contractors to help manage risk, protect government interests, and deliver a landmark design-build program delivering five dorm facilities for up to 6,000 students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, contracts, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years of contracts or construction contract administration experience.
• Strong writing and analytical skills; ability to distinguish advice from direction.
• Ability to obtain unescorted access to JBSA Fort Sam Houston.

Responsibilities

• Provide contract administration and commercial documentation support to the Owner Advisor team.
• Maintain records and analysis for government decision-makers without assuming contracting officer authority.
• Manage agreement obligations, deliverables, notices, and commercial action registers.
• Coordinate scope-change documentation, estimates, schedule analysis, and routing.
• Track changes, modifications, and commitments while avoiding unauthorized work.
• Support GMP documentation, payment reviews, supplier protections, and risk discussions.
• Coordinate with contracts, procurement, legal, and government representatives.
• Support DBO contract options, warranty/closeout records, and auditable handoffs.
