Modivcare seeks a Contracts Specialist II to support the Legal Department by preparing, reviewing, revising, and coordinating execution of standard and moderately complex contracts. You will perform first-level reviews, identify non-standard provisions, and work with attorneys and business partners to ensure timely execution.

This role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least three years in a corporate legal setting, with strong writing and contract lifecycle knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, Paralegal Studies, or related field.
• At least three years in a corporate legal department, law firm, or contract administration.
• Experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and legal documents preferred.
• Knowledge of contract lifecycle management and legal terminology.
• Ability to identify contractual risks and recognize when attorney review is needed.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and coordinate execution of standard and moderately complex contracts.
• Perform first-level substantive review of third-party templates and propose revisions.
• Support contract negotiations and resolve routine contractual issues with business partners.
• Research regulatory requirements and internal policies related to contracts.
• Prepare contract summaries, issue lists, and redlines for attorney review.
• Maintain contract files, version control, and execution records in the system.
• Monitor contract status, approvals, renewals, and expiration dates.
• Assist with templates, clause libraries, and departmental procedures.
