Contract Specialist / Contract Manager / Paralegal (Contract Role)

Location: Remote (U.S.)

Contract Length: 14 Weeks (June 16 – September 19)

Extension Potential: Additional 4 weeks (November 10 – December 5)

Hourly Rate: $40-$50/hr USD

We are seeking a Contract Specialist / Contract Manager / Paralegal for a short-term contract role supporting legal operations. This is a non-lawyer position suited for a motivated, detail-oriented professional experienced in contracts and legal operations.

Responsibilities:

• Review, draft, and negotiate agreements such as vendor/contractor agreements, SOWs, NDAs, order forms, and amendments
• Manage the full contract lifecycle using internal tools (approval platforms, e-signature, document management)
• Create reports with Excel or Google Sheets from internal legal data
• Oversee contract review queues, send signatures, and maintain records
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, HR, Security, and other teams for reviews and approvals
• Identify and escalate legal or business issues in contracts
• Support process improvements and template development
• Assist with corporate governance, immigration, and special projects

Requirements:

• 2+ years in contracts management or as a paralegal with review/drafting experience
• Knowledge of common contract types (NDAs, SOWs, MSAs, Amendments)
• Strong communication skills
• Customer-focused, proactive, responsive
• Detail-oriented with organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in in-house legal, especially tech
• Familiarity with contract management tools
• Background in procurement or negotiation
• Knowledge of privacy and data compliance
