/ THE ROLE

You’re an experienced legal professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and the satisfaction of putting your skills to work where they truly make a difference. You’ve built your career in legal environments—perhaps in court, in-house, or at a firm—and you’re now looking for part-time, high-impact work with a collaborative and pragmatic team.

We’re looking for someone who can help us navigate the legal side of doing business—drafting contracts, interpreting terms, and advising on scope. The work is steady but light—typically just a couple of hours a week—with occasional surges around things like RFPs, new vendor agreements, or SOW reviews.

This role is ideal for someone who appreciates clarity, values good documentation, and wants to support a mission-driven business without taking on a full-time load.

/ WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Draft, edit, and review a range of legal and business documents:
  • NDAs, MNDAs, vendor and independent consulting agreements
  • Statements of Work (SOWs), Master Service Agreements (MSA), client agreements and more
• Spot and flag risk areas in draft agreements, particularly around liability, scope, or commercial alignment
• Help maintain visibility into key contractual terms—like renewal dates, confidentiality terms, or usage rights
• Occasionally coordinate with external counsel on regional or international legal matters
• Provide flexible support on ad hoc legal needs, formatting, or technical editing

/ WHAT YOU BRING

• 5+ years of legal or paralegal experience—bonus points for prior work in court settings, commercial law, or contract negotiation
• Familiarity with the types of agreements common in consulting, professional services, or venture environments
• Confidence reviewing and drafting legal terms with minimal hand-holding
• A knack for distilling complex legal language into something clear and usable
• Comfort working asynchronously and with light-touch direction
• Experience with cross-border agreements, global contracting, or international regulations is a plus
• Business-minded, detail-oriented, and happy to roll up your sleeves when needed

/ COMMITMENT

This is a fractional, hourly, remote role—ideal for someone who wants to stay sharp and make a meaningful contribution without taking on a heavy workload. Expect around 2–3 hours of work in a typical week, with the option to flex up to 10 hours when priorities demand.
