Job summary

Dow is seeking a Paralegal Specialist to provide complex legal support across multiple practice areas, located onsite in Midland, MI, Houston, TX, or Lake Jackson, TX. You will independently manage varied assignments involving contracts, governance, risk, and compliance, collaborating with lawyers and business stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate results.

The role requires strong contract intake, drafting, reviewing, redlining, amendments, and terms interpretation, with attention to detail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian ranking and 5+ years of relevant work experience; or 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting contract language and performing drafting, revising, redlining, summarizing, negotiating within parameters, preparing amendments, and applying defined terms.

Responsibilities

• Manage assignments with initiative, accuracy, discretion, and sound judgment under limited supervision.
• Review and negotiate contract terms within authorized parameters and route matters to counsel as needed.
• Maintain accurate contract records and support governance, risk, and compliance matters.
