Job summary

Chance Rides, LLC is seeking a Contracts & Risk Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of project contracts, ranging from 6 months to 3 years and valued up to $10M+. The role reports to the President & CEO and interacts with finance, legal counsel, engineering, and leadership.

You will develop templates, manage insurance coordination, records retention, compliance calendars, and risk assessments. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in contracts/risk roles, strong judgment, and ability to translate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, legal studies, risk management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in contracts management, risk/contract administration, or related functions.
• Ability to interpret complex contracts with discretion and integrity.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain terms to non-legal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Advise CEO on strategy, contract and negotiation risk mitigation, and risk visibility.
• Collaborate with project managers, finance, legal counsel, and leadership to align terms with scope and risk.
• Draft, redline, and negotiate vendor/customer contracts, NDAs, leases, and SLAs; develop templates.
• Support proposals and government RFP responses, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Lead document retention, records management, and lifecycle processes; coordinate insurance needs.
• Establish intake, approvals, version control, and reporting for contract status and risk.
