Job summary

SAIC seeks a Contracts Senior Principal in Chantilly, VA, with TS/SCI w/ Poly and US citizenship, to manage government contracts and proposals for National Security Agencies. Role includes negotiation, administration, and mentorship, with 2 days remote weekly.

Requires a business degree (B.A./B.S.) or higher, 10+ years (8 with Masters) and deep knowledge of FAR/DFARS/TINA/CAS, and cost proposal experience. Salary range $120,001–$160,000; hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field with 10+ years of experience; Master’s with 8 years acceptable; 4 extra years may substitute.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly Clearance is required.
• Cost proposal experience is required.
• Expert knowledge of FAR, DFARS, TINA, CAS and government contracting practices.

Responsibilities

• Review contractual documents for policy, government specs, and master agreements.
• Advise management on rights and obligations; serve as prime contract contact.
• Coordinate with senior internal/external teams on complex matters; develop innovative solutions.
• Ensure alignment with organizational objectives and contract goals.
• Support proposals and administration of various contract types (FFP, CR, T&M).
• Mentor contract team members.
