Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Contracts Manager to join its Contracts department in Tampa, Orlando, Miami, FL or Austin, TX. The role covers full contract administration, negotiation, documentation, certification, financial reporting and product delivery for major contracts.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (or a master’s) in business-related fields and extensive experience in contract management, with familiarity with state laws and various contract forms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus eight years relevant experience or Master’s plus six years.
• Knowledge of State law and regulations; experience with multiple contract types and performance-based contracting.
• Good analytical and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks within tight timeframes.
• Proficiency with PC and applicable software used in contract administration.
• Contracts Management credentials from NCMA preferred.
• Experience with Design/Build contracts and Progressive Design Build is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to the business on issues during processing of items, coordinating with dispersed teams for efficient deal flow and compliant negotiation and execution of contracts.
• Draft, review, and negotiate client-facing contractual documents, NDAs, teaming agreements, renewals, and other contracts.
• Assist or lead negotiating contract terms from proposal stage to project close-out in accordance with regulations.
• Review solicitation requests to ensure contractual and commercial compliance.
• Coordinate approval of negotiations, contracts, and subcontracts; provide risk mitigation guidance.
• Mentor subcontracts administrators and maintain knowledge of contractual procedures and practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
