Job summary

Brunel is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager for a long-term rotational role in Morenci, AZ. The role involves managing contracts from development through execution, administration, and completion, with a 4x1 rotation pattern spending 4 weeks on site and one week at home.

The candidate will coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, legal, and risk teams, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and effective contract administration across multiple packages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 12 years in related field.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years relevant experience.
• U.S. work eligibility without sponsorship.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contract management.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Experience with EPCM and mega EPC projects.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Experience in heavy industrial construction and commercial management.
• Experience collaborating in client-EPCM-contractor environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contracts to identify requirements, deliverables, ambiguities, and risks.
• Provide recommendations to mitigate contractual risk.
• Develop processes to monitor compliance with contract terms.
• Guide project team on contract administration across multiple packages.
• Identify actions that could lead to contract changes and propose resolutions.
• Support identification of potential contract claims and resolution via change provisions.
• Engage claims and legal teams when appropriate.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders to facilitate contract administration.
• Review payment positions and support cost management.
• Ensure compliance with insurance provisions and governance practices.
• Provide contract-related reporting and guidance to project teams.
• Promote consistent contract administration across projects.
