You will also help strengthen internal processes, improve operational efficiency, and protect business interests through proactive contract and funding management. Your expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of important national security and civilian missions.

Accountabilities
  • Contract Management and Negotiation
    • Manage the full contract lifecycle, including pre-award, award, execution, and closeout activities.
    • Review, edit, negotiate, and support the compliant execution of Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, prime contracts, and subcontracts.
    • Interpret contractual terms and conditions, identify potential risks, and help secure favorable outcomes.
    • Advise program teams on contractual issues, opportunities, impacts, and flow-down requirements.
  • Stakeholder and Compliance Management
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for Contracting Officers and prime teaming partners, maintaining effective working relationships.
    • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure contract performance aligns with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations.
    • Interpret and apply relevant Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) requirements.
    • Act as an escalation point and subject matter expert for contract-related questions and challenges.
  • Funding and Risk Management
    • Work with Finance and Operations to monitor contract funding and identify potential funding limitations.
    • Ensure timely communication with government customers and prime contractors regarding funding constraints.
    • Mitigate financial and contractual risks through timely Authorization to Proceed (ATP) and contract funding requests, tracking, and follow-up.
  • Documentation and Process Improvement
    • Maintain accurate contract records, key data, and supporting documentation.
    • Contribute to contract briefs, internal workflows, and responses to requests for information.
    • Identify and implement improvements to contract management processes and cross-functional operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contracts Management, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in contracts management or the legal profession.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing, editing, negotiating, and executing contractual agreements in compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage contracts throughout their entire lifecycle, from pre-award through closeout.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS requirements and their practical application.
  • Ability to assess contractual terms and conditions, identify risks and opportunities, and advise program teams on their implications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and organize multiple assignments effectively.
  • Experience building productive relationships with internal stakeholders, Contracting Officers, and prime contractor representatives.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve collaboration across business functions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, teamwork, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
Preferred Qualifications
