The Contracts Manager oversees the company’s Inside Sales department withdirect responsibility for the development and implementation of businessrelationships with customers. This position plans, directs, and supportsall inside sales strategies, functions, policies, objectives and initiatives.
Anticipates and reacts quickly to trends and changes in performance.Manages, develops, and mentors the inside sales team. Directly managesinside sales and customer service representatives. Participates incorporate succession planning activities, writes and delivers employee reviews,keeps close tabs on employee morale and creates a positive working environment.
This role is required to be on‑site 5 days at the Simi Valley, CAlocation.
Bachelor’sdegree in Marketing or Business preferred. Must have seven to ten yearsof experience in a sales leadership role with at least 4 years inselling. Must have experience in new business development activities,including customer interaction, acquisition and procurement processes, and competitive assessment Knowledgeof contracting, negotiating, and change management. Knowledgeof structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations. Able to travel 5% of the time.
This role involves access to technical data and/or hardware subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $113,000 - $145,000.
Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance‑related bonuses.
