Overview

Under the general direction of the CHASS Contracts and Grants Unit Supervisor, the Contracts & Grants Analyst 2 manages and coordinates complex fiscal budgeting and administration to ensure CHASS departments maintain integrity and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Serve the CHASS Contracts and Grants team by performing advanced budget and resource analyses.
• Conduct internal fund audits using robust analytical tools.
• Track and reconcile expenses for extramural and other funding sources.
• Maintain strong internal controls.
• Adapt to evolving needs for financial reports and ad hoc information for Principal Investigators, department Chairpersons, and administrative staff.
• Prepare agency‑specific, multi‑year budgets and facilitate submission of contract and grant proposals to federal and non‑federal agencies.
• Assist with training departmental staff on Contracts and Grants procedures, providing guidance to resolve issues and manage funds more effectively.
• Serve a hybrid remote work schedule.

This position is eligible for a hybrid remote work schedule.
