Job summary

HCM in Baltimore seeks a Specialist - Contracts and Governance to support the Legal and Risk Management team. You will review and generate contracts and amendments, coordinate with project teams, and manage contract workflows.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in an office setting, strong communication and analytical skills, with familiarity in Deltek Vantagepoint, DocuSign, and architectural contract software. Hybrid schedule with three on-site days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least three years of professional experience in an office environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented.
• Familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint, architectural contract software, and DocuSign is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and generate client and consultant contracts and amendments.
• Coordinate with project teams regarding contract workflow.
• Communicate and interact with all levels of the organization.
• Manage multiple tasks and deadlines to maintain flow of work, including prioritization with General Counsel.
• Collaborate on legal/risk management trainings for the firm and tailored needs.
• Partner with accounting team to initiate contract process and review contractual needs.
• Monitor and coordinate insurance requirements.
• Maintain and communicate confidential and governance-related information.
• Hybrid work model with 3 core on-site days and remote flexibility.
