Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the State Bar.
• 5–7 years of contracts management and business transaction experience.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Strong understanding of corporate and contract law.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on contract management and business transactions.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts with stakeholders.
• Monitor changes in laws to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
• Advise business units on risk, liabilities, and obligations in contracts.
• Represent the company in negotiations and dispute resolution related to contracts.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, and operations to streamline CLM.
• Develop best practices for contract lifecycle management and compliance tracking.
• Provide training on contract-related issues and legal implications.
• Support the General Counsel in corporate policy compliance and regulatory standards.
