Job Summary

This role reports to the Associate General Counsel, Commercial Contracting. You will manage the full lifecycle of commercial contracts, support high volume contracting activity, draft, review and negotiate a wide range of agreements, and help enforce contracting standards while providing clear, timely legal guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including Master Service Agreements and supply agreements.
• Manage contract workflows from intake through execution.
• Maintain contract templates and playbooks.
• Identify risk in contract terms and recommend practical solutions.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, finance, and operations.
• Ensure contracts comply with company policies.
• Support implementation of contracting procedures.
• Track contract obligations and renewals.
• Prepare summaries for internal stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of contracting processes.

Qualifications

• JD and active bar admission in good standing.
• 5+ years experience focused on commercial contracting.
• Experience in the renewable energy industry required.
• Solar industry experience preferred.
• Experience with procurement contracts or supply agreements.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to assess legal risk in commercial terms.
• Strong judgment.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
