Job summary

Trueline is seeking a Construction Contracts and Claims Manager to join our growing Western Massachusetts team. You will partner with executives and project teams to strengthen contract administration, improve documentation, and support change orders and claims recovery while mitigating contractual risk.

You will organize project records, communicate obligations, and guide project managers in documenting and resolving contractual issues.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Hands-on contract administration, change orders, claims documentation, and payment applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication with project teams and counsel.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain owner contracts, subcontracts, PO's, consultant agreements, and project records.
• Review contract requirements and communicate obligations, deadlines, and notices to project teams.
• Support documentation for change orders, claims, and equitable adjustments.
• Track active and potential claims, change orders, retainage, and disputed payments.
• Prepare records for payment requests, collection efforts, and dispute resolution.
• Establish consistent contract administration and documentation procedures.
• Coordinate with outside legal counsel and gather information for attorneys.
