Job summary

Trueline is hiring a Commercial Construction Project Manager in Rockland, MA to lead multiple commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will serve as the main contact for clients, architects, and subcontractors, manage budgets, schedules, and procurement, and coordinate with Superintendents to drive project success.

The role requires independent project ownership, strong communication skills, and experience with RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

Qualifications

• Meaningful commercial construction PM experience with a GC or CM
• Ability to independently manage commercial projects and teams
• Experience managing multiple active projects, clients, and deadlines
• Strong ownership of project financials: budgets, forecasting, billing, change orders
• Experience with subcontractor buyout, procurement, contracts, and administration
• Strong client-facing communication and relationship management
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, scopes, and contracts
• Experience partnering with field Superintendents
• Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, schedules, and closeout
• Procore familiarity or strong alternative CM tech

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately three concurrent commercial construction projects
• Own projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Be primary contact for clients, architects, subcontractors, vendors
• Review plans, specs, contracts, scopes, and docs
• Manage budgets, forecasts, job costs, profitability, and reporting
• Develop, update, and monitor project schedules
• Lead kickoff and recurring owner/subcontractor/internal meetings
• Manage subcontractor buyout, procurement, and purchase orders
• Coordinate field execution with Superintendents
• Handle RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and closeout docs
• Identify and track changes, negotiate COs
• Prepare owner requisitions, billing, and related docs
• Identify risks and drive solutions
• Coordinate punch lists and final closeout
• Support diverse portfolio of ground-up and tenant-improv projects
