Job summary

Scan.com in the United States seeks a Mid-Level Contracts Attorney to join our legal team, owning contracts from NDA through complex supplier and services agreements. You will negotiate liability caps, data terms, terminations, and payments while building scalable contracting infrastructure with LawVu.

The role emphasizes healthcare regulatory exposure (HIPAA, BAAs, Stark) and drafting efficiency, plus training business users on policy and signature workflows in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and bar in any U.S. state.
• Strong commercial contracting experience with ability to run matters with limited oversight.
• Excellent drafting and redlining skills with clean edits.
• Healthcare regulatory knowledge such as HIPAA, BAAs, AKS/Stark.
• Experience administering CLM or legal workflow tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as the legal point of contact for the Supply team on imaging center and related agreements.
• Draft and redline agreements, review counterparty drafts against standard positions.
• Negotiate liability caps, indemnities, data terms, termination, and payment terms.
• Prepare and negotiate BAAs and data processing agreements across affiliated entities.
• Own the NDA process from intake to execution and manage related risks.
