Job summary

Frontline Wildfire Defense seeks a Contracts Attorney to own commercial agreements with general contractors, vendors, and strategic partners. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will be the first line of legal judgment on most contracts, working across Sales, Operations, and Finance in a fast-paced climate-tech environment.

You will perform GC and subcontract negotiations, review vendor and marketing materials for legal exposure, and help build scalable contract templates.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of contract-focused in-house construction legal experience.
• Experience negotiating vendor, procurement, and commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Own GC and subcontract negotiations from draft through execution.
• Negotiate installer subcontracts and amendments; support SOWs and change orders.
• Draft and review vendor, procurement, and commercial agreements.
• Provide fast, practical risk and compliance guidance across teams.
• Build contract templates, playbooks, and scalable processes.
