Job summary

Fireworks AI is seeking a Contracts Manager to join our growing legal team. You will draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements underpinning customer and procurement activities, operating with independence and judgment.

You will build scalable contracting and compliance frameworks to keep pace with a fast-growing business, partner with legal, finance, and business teams, and manage multiple workstreams under tight timelines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts.
• In-house, law firm, or procurement-facing experience with high-volume contracting.
• AI-forward mindset with ability to leverage AI tools to streamline workflows.

Responsibilities

• As Contracts Manager, you’ll be a foundational member of our growing legal team, owning the high-volume contracting that keeps the business moving
• You’ll draft, review, and negotiate the standard agreements that underpin our commercial and operational activity and operate with significant independence and judgment
• This role initially reports to the General Counsel
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements supporting Fireworks’ customer and procurement relationships
• Build and maintain scalable contracting and compliance frameworks to enable a growing legal team to keep pace with the business
• Partner closely with legal, finance, and business teams to drive agreements from request to signature
• Manage multiple contract workstreams in parallel under fast timelines while maintaining high quality

• Strong hands-on drafting and redlining across a broad range of standard commercial contracts and ability to carry negotiations independently
• Demonstrated ownership of a contract lifecycle end to end, including post-signature obligation management
• 10+ years managing commercial contracts in-house, at a law firm, or in a contracts or procurement function
• AI-forward, builder’s mindset, with a demonstrated ability to use AI tools to streamline daily workflows and accelerate efficiency
• Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high volume without dropping quality
