Job summary

Daniel J. Edelman Holdings seeks a Contracts Analyst to join the Contracts team within Edelman’s Finance group. This role drafts and reviews NDAs, SOWs, and vendor agreements, supporting multiple clients in the United States and Canada.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of relevant contracts experience, strong attention to detail, and a desire to learn. The position is hybrid and aligned with Pacific Time business hours.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience drafting, reviewing, or administering commercial contracts including NDAs, SOWs, and/or vendor agreements.
• Experience with Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and other commercial contract types is preferred but not required.
• Experience in the public relations, marketing, advertising, or related professional services industries is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience; J.D. is a plus but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple agreements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative and service-oriented approach to working with internal stakeholders.
• Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in continuing to learn and develop contract-review and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and support the negotiation of NDAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Review financial and commercial terms in client and vendor agreements, identifying potential issues and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve them.
• Review all terms and conditions of NDAs and SOWs in accordance with company standards and guidelines.
• Identify terms requiring escalation and coordinate with Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders as appropriate.
• Support the review of Master Services Agreements and other contract types based on experience and business needs.
• Partner with internal teams to understand business objectives and facilitate the contracting process in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records and help ensure contracts move efficiently through the review and approval process.
• Develop understanding of Edelman's contracting standards, policies, and risk considerations.
