Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Purchasing and Risk Management, the Contracts Analyst determines procurement methods, formulation, preparation and finalization of bids, contracts, license agreements, service agreements, maintenance agreements, and equipment leases.
Requirements / Qualifications
Public agency experience must include the application of laws, policies and procedures related to purchasing and contracting services as well as analysis, research, review, and reporting on bids, requisitions, vendors, contractors, and adherence to contract requirements.
California public school district experience is preferred.

Examination process: Completed applications are reviewed and candidates who meet the minimum qualifications participate in an examination process. Exam components may consist of a Performance Exam (weighted at 50%) and a Qualifications Appraisal Interview (weighted at 50%). The competitive basis for this recruitment is Open/Promotional - Dual Certification. Candidates who pass all exams are placed on an eligibility list in order of overall exam score. The list is used to fill current and future vacancies for six months. The job posting will open until an eligibility list is established.
