Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Contracts Administrator to cradle-to-grave manage federal contracts, lead negotiations, and support proposals. The role requires interaction with customers and senior leaders, reviews of diverse contract types, and compliance across laws and corporate policies.

The position is hybrid with 2-3 days in the office, and may involve travel up to 10%. A Bachelor’s degree and security clearance eligibility are required, along with 5+ years of relevant experience and NCMA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• US Citizenship required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional working experience.
• Professional certification through NCMA or a college.
• Strong writing and analytic skills essential.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Broad experience covering both services and product contracting.
• Understanding of international, state, local and commercial contracting.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point-of-contact with the Customer Contracting Officer or Buyer.
• Serve as a focal point for communication with Finance, Legal, and business team members for resolution of contract matters and disputes.
• Understand the business, financial/analytic issues, and profit and loss implications.
• Support proposal activity through NDA, TA, and analysis of contract structure.
• Perform risk analysis on RFP content and provide guidance to the proposal team.
• Develop negotiation strategy and lead negotiation team for contractual issues.
• Work with different contract types, terminate, and close out contracts.
• Review and manage contractual obligations to ensure terms are met.
• Identify changes to contract requirements and costs and lead recovery through change proposals.
• Analyze contract requirements, provisions, and regulatory compliance and communicate results.
• Assist in development and implementation of new contract policy and processes.
• Manage special projects when assigned.
