Job summary

Louisiana Bridge Builders seeks a Contracts Administrator to support contract and subcontract management for the I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge project in Lake Charles, LA. The role includes drafting, reviewing, and administering contracts, NDAs, and service agreements, and coordinating with project teams to ensure compliance and timely performance.

The position requires strong negotiation skills, experience with claims management, and the ability to manage insurance requirements and change orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, construction management, or related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience in contract and subcontract administration in construction.
• Alternative: high school diploma with 11+ years of proven experience in contract and subcontract administration.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise contracts, NDAs, purchase agreements, and service agreements.
• Administer and close out subcontracts consistent with prime contract requirements.
• Draft and manage correspondence with subcontractors and other parties, including change orders and notices.
• Manage claims with subcontractors including analysis, coordination with project teams and legal counsel, and settlements.
