Job summary

Louisianna Bridge Builders is hiring a DBE Coordinator in Lake Charles, LA, to support the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program for the I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge project. The coordinator will ensure adherence to DBE regulations, assist in monitoring contractor compliance, and maintain accurate records.

Qualified candidates will have an associate’s degree or equivalent experience and 1-3 years in construction administration or DBE compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are essential. This position offers a cohesive work environment and the chance to promote DBE participation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in construction administration, DBE compliance, or subcontractor coordination preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT DBE regulations, CUF requirements, and Good Faith Efforts preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist DBE Manager with implementation and monitoring of DBE program requirements.
• Conduct jobsite visits to observe DBE work performance.
• Prepare monthly DBE participation reports under supervision.
• Serve as point of contact for DBE subcontractor inquiries.
