Job summary

Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a Contracts Administrator 2 in Atlanta to manage a high volume of contracts for social and behavioral health services. You will monitor vendor performance, help develop contracting policies, and provide training to staff and providers.

This role requires strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and the ability to handle multiple contracts. DHS offers a comprehensive benefits package and telework options depending on position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree with two years’ experience in a related field.
  • At least one year’s experience with computer systems for data entry and data review.
  • Experience working with diverse populations in a fast-paced environment.

  • Develop effective working relationships and work well as part of a team to achieve organizational goals.

  • Previous experience in workforce development and/or career counseling is preferred.
  • Previous case management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates implementation of a high volume of contracts for the provision of social, therapeutic, & behavioral health services.
  • Performs research, evaluation, and analysis for monitoring vendor performance for compliance of contracts.
  • Develops and implements contracting policies and procedures; recommends improvements to existing policy/procedure.
  • May serve as lead staff.
  • Provides technical assistance/training to assigned staff, external service providers and interdepartmental stakeholders.
  • Monitor and audit Provider contractual compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma/GED and five (5) years of contracting job-related experience; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Contracts Administrator 1 (LEP030) or position equivalent.--Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over‑year.
