Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 10+ years generalist Commercial Lines underwriting experience including 5+ years in the Contractors market segment.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license in good standing and able to drive an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Set and advance the underwriting strategy for the Contractors market segment, ensuring broad appetite and specialty niches.
• Generate actionable insights to drive growth and profitability while maintaining adherence to guidelines.
• Monitor external factors affecting customers and develop strategies to capitalize on opportunities or mitigate risk.
• Identify opportunities for expansion of underwriting appetite and product development with Product teams on technology solutions.
• Lead and develop a team of subject matter experts for referrals and consultations with regional front-line underwriters.
