People and Culture Generalist at Aytu BioPharma

The Contract Recruiter will serve as a strategic talent acquisition partner, supporting Aytu BioPharma’s critical hiring needs during a period of rapid growth and product launch preparation. This role is ideal for a self-driven, experienced recruiting professional with strong knowledge of full-cycle recruitment, employment compliance, and candidate experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. The recruiter will manage requisitions across all levels of the organization, collaborate with hiring leaders, and assist in shaping internal TA operations and process documentation. This role also includes coaching and knowledge transfer to internal HR support staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Own full-cycle recruitment from intake to offer for G&A, commercial, clinical, and field-based roles
  • Source and engage candidates via job boards, ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and referral channels
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role needs, interview structure, and ideal candidate profile
  • Develop job descriptions, postings, and interview plans
  • Screen candidates for qualifications, cultural fit, and compliance with hiring criteria
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience with timely and transparent communication
  • Guide offer development and negotiation with HR/Finance support
  • Track metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate pipeline, and source effectiveness
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture Coordinator on interview logistics and recruiter training
  • Provide process documentation and input into future-state recruiting playbooks

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry hiring practices
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance concerns related to recruiting
  • Skilled at interviewing and evaluating candidates across functions and experience levels
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative skills; ability to advise hiring leaders with credibility
  • Detail-oriented and organized with ability to manage multiple requisitions concurrently
  • Proficient in ATS and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience, with at least 2 years in pharma/biotech
  • Demonstrated success recruiting for roles in sales, clinical, operations, and corporate support
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, scaling organization preferred
