Job summary

Integrated Health 21 is seeking skilled phlebotomists with corporate wellness or biometric screening experience to support on-site employee health screening events. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with events typically in early mornings and weekdays, offering a flexible schedule for supplemental work.

Responsibilities include screenings, data entry, equipment setup, and assisting with medical emergencies, all while maintaining HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience required.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Phlebotomy or medical assistant program preferred or as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome participants and guide them through the screening process.
• Obtain height and weight measurements.
• Measure resting blood pressure with a manual cuff.
• Perform fingerstick blood collection and operate Cholestech LDX/CardioChek equipment accurately.
• Assess lipid panel and glucose results.
• Perform venipuncture blood draws when required (two attempts).
• Document screening data accurately on paper forms or tablets.
• Assist with setup, breakdown, and transport of screening equipment.
• Provide CPR if needed and assist during emergencies.
