Job summary

Integrated Health 21 is seeking skilled phlebotomists with corporate wellness or biometric screening experience to support on-site employee health screening events. This role is a 1099 independent contractor position with flexible, as-needed hours.

Events typically run in early mornings or daytime on weekdays, offering a flexible schedule for supplemental work while maintaining strict HIPAA confidentiality and high-quality screening standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Phlebotomy and/or medical certification preferred or as required by state regulations.
• Experience obtaining anthropometric measurements (BP, height, weight, BMI) is desired.

Responsibilities

• Welcome participants and guide them through the screening process.
• Obtain height (stadiometer) and weight measurements.
• Measure resting blood pressure with a manual cuff.
• Perform fingerstick blood collection and operate Cholestech LDX/CardioChek equipment.
• Assess lipid panel and glucose results.
• Perform venipuncture blood draws when required.
• Document screening data accurately on paper forms or electronic tablets.
• Assist with setup, troubleshooting, and transport of screening equipment.
• Support with medical emergencies and follow HIPAA confidentiality standards.
