Job summary

The role offers foundational training, clerical duties, and opportunities to grow within the Contractor Licensing team. A high school diploma and basic cashiering experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• KS/MO driver’s license may be required, depending on department or agency.
• Reference/background screening for all positions is required.
• One year of customer service; one year of cashiering or money handling experience preferred.
• Education/Experience substitutions allowed (experience may substitute for degree).
• Immunization requirements must be met within 60 days of hire or approved exemption may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Answers phones, greets customers, and provides standard information via phone, email, or in-person inquiries.
• Creates and maintains files; performs data entry and proofreads information; schedules appointments and meetings.
• Assists customers with completing routine forms; collects forms and supporting documents; routes materials.
• Calculates and collects fees; resolves basic customer complaints and billing disputes; conducts preliminary cash audit.
