Johnson County's Department of Planning, Housing, and Community Development is looking for qualified applicants to fill the position of Contractor Liaison for their Housing Services division. This position will work in a team and values-based environment with a commitment to HPO principles, collaborative problem solving, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Duties Include:
Associate's degree in Residential Building Systems, Construction, Engineering, or relevant field.
LBP Risk Assessor Certification and NSPIRE Certification within 6 months of hire.
Two (2) years of experience with housing construction, trades, building codes or relevant residential remodeling, construction project management or relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in Residential Building Systems, Construction, Engineering, or relevant field.
One (1) year of experience with residential construction pricing/specification computer software and one (1) year of direct experience with HUD-funded rehabilitation programs.
Public speaking and presenting complicated and detailed information.
