AEG Vision seeks a Contractor Instructional Designer-Content Creator to shape our learning journey by creating engaging training content and leading end-to-end course development remotely.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts, review curricula, and apply ADDIE with Articulate Storyline and Captivate to deliver effective modules across staff. This role emphasizes innovation, quality, and measurable learning outcomes.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Instructional Design or related field.
• 5+ years of instructional design and adult learning experience.
• Proficiency with e-learning tools (Articulate Storyline, Captivate).
• Advanced multimedia content creation skills.
• Strong ADDIE knowledge and practical application.

Responsabilidades

About the Job

The Instructional Designer-Content Creator, contractor will report to the Learning & Development department. As an Instructional Designer, you play a crucial role in shaping our learning journey. This position involves creating engaging and educational content, collaborating with departmental experts and stakeholders, reviewing incoming course curricula created within AEG, and making essential final edits before adding the curricula to the LMS. The Instructional Designer uses authoring software and innovative tools to develop interactive learning modules. The role ensures effective course curricula are built and assigned to the correct staff members within the organization while contributing to a culture of continuous learning and development. This dynamic position requires a versatile professional with expertise in creating content and providing implementation guidance for a higher adoption of learning content.

• Develop engaging and interactive training content, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, printable job aids, newsletters, playbooks, and other materials
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content
• Utilize instructional design principles and software to write, edit, and design effective and engaging content aligned with learning objectives
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development through continuous research and independent learning
• Enhance learning experiences with multimedia elements like graphics, animations, video and simulations
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure content meets organizational standards
• Assist in implementing and rolling out training programs
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics
• Make recommendations for continuous improvement based on evaluation results

Requirements

• Related experience or Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning and Development
• 5+ years of experience in instructional design and adult learning experience development
• Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Captivate)
• Advanced skills in multimedia software for content creation
• Strong understanding and application of instructional design principles (such as ADDIE)
• Proven ability to manage multiple learning initiatives simultaneously
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts
• Innovative and creative approach to developing engaging training content
• Strong graphic design background with a keen eye for aesthetics, layout, typography, and visual consistency
• Experience using AI tools to create and refine graphics, images, and other design elements that support learning objectives and align with brand standards
• Stay current with technology trends and advancements in learning technologies
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to adapt to changes in project scope and requirements
• Strong research skills to propose creative and effective training solutions
• Leadership experience or the ability to take a lead role in learning projects
• Some travel may be neccessary
