Job summary

Mahmee is seeking a contracted doula to provide in-person labor support and postpartum care within our care team model. You will work with patients across prenatal, birth, and postpartum periods, coordinating with virtual doulas and Mahmee care coordinators using our platform.

You’ll document encounters within 24 hours, maintain availability in the Mahmee Platform, and uphold HIPAA and equity commitments while delivering compassionate, culturally humble care.

Qualifications

• Current doula training certificate from a recognized organization (e.g., DONA, CAPPA, ProDoula, Bebo Mia) maintained throughout the term.
• Experience providing prenatal education, labor support, postpartum care, or newborn support.
• Proficiency with digital communication tools, EHRs, and care-management platforms for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous bedside doula support during labor and delivery.
• Coordinate with Mahmee virtual doula team for backup support when needed.
• Offer psychosocial support during prenatal and postpartum appointments, in person or virtual.
• Document all encounters in the Mahmee Platform within 24 hours after each visit.
