Job summary

Nadia Care in Maryland is seeking a certified Birth Doula contractor to support expectant mothers with two virtual prenatal visits and on-call labor support in the Greater Baltimore area. This role partners with our maternity navigation team to ensure social needs and labor plans are addressed, with care delivered virtually and in-person as needed.

The contractor will coordinate with nurses and providers, maintain documentation, and schedule 2 prenatal visits while serving 1–4 births per month,

Qualifications

• Must have valid Doula certification.
• Active Maryland Medicaid provider in ePREP.
• Deep knowledge of childbirth and non-medical pain management.
• Strong communication with compassion and cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and navigate telehealth/EHR tools.

Responsibilities

• Build connection in two virtual prenatal visits and educate on labor positions and birth plans.
• Be on-call to support clients through active labor.
• Elevate clinical and social needs to care team as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all care interactions.
