Job summary

PTC Therapeutics invites a contractor to perform in vitro and in vivo metabolism/bioanalysis work supporting DMPK studies in discovery and early development. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, data interpretation, and adherence to SOPs within a lab-based setting.

Minimum qualifications include an advanced degree with relevant DMPK experience and proficiency with LC-MS and automated liquid handlers. Travel of up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmacology or related discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's with 4 years.
• Experience conducting in vitro and in vivo DMPK studies (metabolic stability, CYP inhibition/induction, bioanalysis).
• Experience operating LC-MS instruments and automated liquid handlers.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%; office/lab-based position.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and executes scientific research and experiments with guidance in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Performs established in vitro and in vivo metabolism/bioanalysis assays.
• Develops new and improves existing DMPK assays.
• Documents experiment details, records results, and prepares reports.
• Ensures adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Supports general lab needs and equipment maintenance.
