Job summary

Prelude Therapeutics Incorporated is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead the DMPK and bioanalysis laboratory. The role includes in-house screening, LC-MS/MS analysis, and coordinating outsourced CRO studies, ensuring timely results for a diverse portfolio including small molecules and ADCs.

The candidate will manage, train, and mentor staff across biology and chemistry teams, aligning laboratory work with program needs and improving workflows and data quality.

Qualifications

• BS/MS or PhD with 5+ years (PhD) or 10+ years (BS/MS) of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Hands-on experience with quantitative LC-MS/MS bioanalysis and data review.
• Experience with instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the DMPK and bioanalysis laboratory.
• Oversee LC-MS/MS and in vitro assays, data processing and interpretation.
• Coordinate outsourced CRO studies from planning to reporting.
• Ensure timely delivery of study results across portfolios.
• Train, mentor, and directly manage laboratory staff.
• Collaborate with biology and chemistry teams to align work with programs.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, data quality, and turnaround time.
