The Provider Contracting Specialist is a member of the Provider Contracting team and part of the Legal Department. The Specialist has responsibility for preparing and amending employment and 1099 contracts for physicians and other clinical employees (collectively, “providers”) as well as related documents. This includes, but is not limited to: coordinating the new hire contracting process of providers after hand-off from the Recruiting Team; preparation of employment agreements and 1099 agreements based on templates and customizing those agreements as appropriate; handling the re-contracting and amendment of existing provider contracts; maintaining and updating templates; answering questions from potential provider candidates and their attorneys, and internal NAPA departments; updating and maintaining provider contracting information and tracking and reporting on that data; working on special projects as requested by the Legal Department related to contracting. The position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to details, strong written and verbal communication skills, critical thinkings skills and excellent time management skills.
Drafting contracts, amendments, and letter agreements for clinical new hires, existing employees, and independent contractors;
Obtaining proper approvals as required by departmental standards;
Answering inquiries and following up with candidates, clinical leaders, senior management, and internal departments; negotiating terms and making revisions;
Coordinating and facilitating the contract execution process; and preparing termination letters in accordance with provider contract requirements.
Data management duties including maintaining accurate information in CONGA for each clinical provider.
Previous experience with preparation of contracts is preferred.
Ability to discuss complex contracting issues with candidates and their attorneys.

High level of professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven business environment, with a high focus on accuracy.
High level of proficiency with CONGA and MS Office products, including Word, Excel and SharePoint. Experience with WORKDAY a plus.
Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary: $57,000 - $75,000 annually
