The Contracting Administrator will be responsible for processing and managing new agent contracting submissions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our agents are accurately and efficiently appointed with the appropriate insurance carriers so they can begin writing business without delay.
Review and process new agent contracts submitted through our contracting platform or via email. Verify licensing credentials and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and compliant. Submit contracting paperwork to appropriate carriers in a timely manner. Track and follow up on pending contracts to ensure completion. Maintain accurate records of contracting statuses and updates in our CRM system. Communicate with agents and internal team members regarding contracting requirements, updates, or missing information. Serve as a liaison between the agent, carrier, and internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process. Stay up to date with carrier-specific contracting processes and requirements.
Prior experience in insurance contracting, licensing, or administrative support preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working with CRM platforms, databases, and carrier portals. A customer-service mindset with a professional and solution-oriented approach.
