Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking high-performing software developers for a contract-to-hire role based in the Boston area, MA. The position is onsite 4 days a week in Boston or Needham, MA, with a focus on Java fullstack development and AI-driven engineering practices.

Requirements include 5 years designing durable software, proficiency with SDLC tools, cloud platforms, databases, and multiple IDEs.

Qualifications

• 5 years designing and developing durable software solutions with exposure to AI-driven agentic engineering practices.
• Familiar with SDLC tools: Jira/Linear, Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, VS Code/IntelliJ/Eclipse, Claude Code/GitHub Copilot, AWS/Azure, Java/Python/TypeScript, Oracle/MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software components across full stack web, mobile, desktop, and platform services.
• Influence architecture and drive technical decisions balancing delivery and platform health.
• Turn business needs into clear requirements, specifications, and test plans with stakeholders.
• Support the full delivery lifecycle: design, prototyping, implementation, testing, and production support.

This Team is looking for bar raisers that are high performers W2 and CTC candidates seeking visa sponsorship.

Onsite in Boston or Needham MA 4 days per week

5-10 years of experience of Java fullstack development experience

This is a contract to hire role.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 years of experience designing and developing durable and impactful software solutions with exposure to AI-driven agentic engineering practices
• Comfortable with SDLC tools such as issue tracking (JIRA / Linear), source code management (Git), CI/CD (Jenkins / GitHub Actions), IDEs (VS Code / IntelliJ / Eclipse), AI tools (Claude Code / GitHub Copilot), Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure), Languages (Java / Python / TypeScript), and databases (Oracle / MySQL)
• Excellent communication and commitment to working independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• A mindset to be a dependable steward of a business-critical platform, while embracing continuous improvement

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement software components and applications across the full stack web, mobile, desktop, and platform-level services
• Influence architecture and drive technical decisions across the team, balancing near-term delivery with long-term platform health
• Partner with business teams, project managers, and systems analysts to turn business needs into clear requirements, specifications, and test plans
• Support the full delivery lifecycle: design, prototyping, implementation, testing, and production support

Estimated Min Rate : $60.00

Estimated Max Rate : $80.00
