Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in good standing with Pennsylvania State Board.
• At least one year of pharmacy experience; Long Term Care preferred.
• Physical ability to sit/stand, perform fine motor tasks, and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders entered by data entry technicians for accuracy and compliance.
• Check blister-packed medications and sterile/non-sterile preparations.
• Respond to inquiries from nursing facility staff, hospice nurses, and physicians.
• Count controlled substances and maintain perpetual inventory records.
• Review and replenish emergency medication boxes as needed.
• Use QS1, Docutrack, and PCC for documentation and workflow management.
