Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing.
• 1+ year of pharmacist experience, LTC experience preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

We are seeking a Long-Term Care Pharmacist for a contract opportunity with an established LTC pharmacy in Chicora, PA.

Term of Assignment:

Contract assignment with the possibility of extension.

Schedule:

Both full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time (24 hours/week) schedules are available.

Duties include:

• Checking orders entered by a data entry technician for skilled nursing facilities, personal care facilities and hospice.
• Checking packaged medications which are blister packed. Checking sterile and non-sterile medications.
• Answering phone calls from nursing facilities, hospice nurses and physicians. Answer clinical questions.
• Counting control substances, then documenting in the perpetual inventory.
• Checking emergency boxes.

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing
• 1+ year of pharmacist experience (Long Term Care experience preferred)
• Experience working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment

Pay:

Starting at $60/hour (based on experience.)
