We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Consulting Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our progressive manufacturing team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starting, innovative problem solver who has a keen understanding of the maintenance process in the manufacturing industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in industrial maintenance, who is looking for a challenging role in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

As a Consulting Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties designed to maintain and enhance the functionality of our manufacturing equipment. Your responsibilities will include

• Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
• Performing preventive maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating optimally.
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Managing conveyor systems, ensuring they are in good working condition and performing any necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Collaborating with other team members and departments to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities.
• Providing expert consultation and advice on maintenance strategies and process improvements.
• Documenting all maintenance and repair work, and maintaining a comprehensive database of machinery history and parts.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in electrical, mechanical, and preventive maintenance.
• Proficiency in maintaining and repairing conveyor systems.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems and procedures in understandable terms.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as needed.
• A degree or certificate in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
